Royal Enfield hikes the prices of the recently launched Royal Enfield Scram 411, Check new prices here

Popular two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield had launched its latest bike Royal Enfield Scram 411 last month (March 15). However, just a month after the launch of the bike, the company has hiked the prices for Scram 411. The Scram 411 which is based on the Himalayan gets a price hike up to Rs 3000 in the Indian market.

After the latest price hike, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 costs between Rs 2.05 lakh and Rs 2.11 lakh. The price varies according to the colour variant you choose. Earlier the Scram 411 had a price range between 2.03 lakh and Rs 2.08 lakh. The Graphite- Red/Yellow/Blue colour variants cost Rs 2.05 lakh while the Blazing Black/Skyline Blue costs Rs 2.07 lakh. The top variant is the White Flame/Silver Spirit costs Rs 2.11 lakh now.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 specifications

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder, 4 stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is present in the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The maximum power that is expected to be produced from the engine is 24.3 bhp, while the peak torque will be 32Nm. However, the front wheel of the Scram will be smaller than the Himalayan. While the Himalayan has a 21-inch wheel at the front the Scram will have 19-inch front wheel. The rear wheel will be the same as that of the Himalayan (17-inch). The scram gets spoked wheels and 5-speed gearbox just like the Himalayan.

Unlike the Himalayan’s split seat design, the Scram 411 gets a single seat. The handlebar remains the same as that of the Himalayan. However, the height of the handlebar is not as high as that of the Himalayan. The Scram does not have the windscreen that is present on the Himalayan. The tank shroud is also smaller as compared to the Himalayan.

In terms of safety, dual disc brakes (front and rear) along with dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) are available on the bike. While the front will have telescopic suspension, the rear has mono-shock suspension. In terms of dimensions, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 has a wheelbase of 1455 mm, ground clearance 200 mm and seat height of 795 mm. The kerb weight of the bike is 185 kg while the fuel capacity is 15 litres.
