What to expect from facelift versions of Hyundai Creta, Alcazar that will be launched in 2024

Hyundai Creta Facelift

The Hyundai Creta Facelift will have a refreshed exterior that will be quite similar to the new Tucson. The front grille as well as the headlight pattern is expected to be similar to that of the Tucson. The rear of the SUV will offer connected LED tailamps and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Interiors of the facelift Creta will probably remain the same as those of the current generation. We are expected to get features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity, powered driver seats, cruise control, paddle shifters and BlueLink connectivity.

We will be offered safety features like ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold, TPMS, ISOFIX seats, all wheels disc brakes, and ESP as standard. However, the addition will be in the form of a host of ADAS features.

Engine

When it comes to engines, the Creta facelift will probably continue to offer 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel, and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which offers 160hp, will also be present on the Creta facelift.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will offer a similar grille as well as front facia like the Creta facelift. However, the sides of the SUV will be similar to the current model. The interior of the model will remain the same. The important specs should include panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bose audio system, air purifier etc.

When it comes to safety, we get features like 6 airbags as standard, hill start assist, hill hold, tyre pressure monitoring, and ESC.

Engine

The engines on the Alcazar facelift are expected to be same as the current model.

There is a 1.5L petrol engine that churns out maximum power of 160 hp while the peak torque is 253Nm. Apart from the petrol engine, there is also a presence of a diesel engine. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 115hp of power and 250Nm of torque. It is paired with a six speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic.
