Suzuki launches the Burgman Street EX in India, check launch price and features

The Burgman Street EX costs Rs 1,12,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be offered alongside the standard version and Ride connect version.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Burgman Street EX in India. This new Burgman Street variant is the third variant of Suzuki Burgman Street. The Burgman Street EX costs Rs 1,12,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be offered alongside the standard version and Ride connect version. The scooter gets some new functions and gets a price bump as compared to the standard variant.

The new Suzuki Burgman Street EX gets 12-inch rear wheel which is larger than the other variants. The rear tyre (100/80-12) is wider too as compared to the other variants. The scooter also gets a silent starter system with an auto start/ stop function. The company has also equipped the new scooter with new Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha tech which is meant to save fuel.

Even though the dimensions of the Suzuki Burgman Street EX remain the same as that of the other Burgmans, it gets a minor difference. The EX variant is 1kg heavier and gets 25mm longer wheelbase than the standard variant.

When it comes to the engine of the scooter, the Burgman Street EX is powered by the same 124cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine as the other Burgmans. The power of the Street EX is 8.6hp while the torque is 10Nm. Key features of the scooter include an LED headlight, Bluetooth-enabled LCD, USB charging socket etc. The scooter is offered in three attractive colours including Platinum Silver, Bronze, and Black.

Burgman Street EX is Rs 22,400 more than the standard Burgman variant. On the other hand, the Ride Connect version is Rs 19,000 less than the Burgman Street EX. On the other hand, the Suzuki Burgman Street competes with Aprilia SXR 125 in the Indian market.
