Skoda launches new limited edition Slavia in India at Rs 19.13 lakh

Skoda India has launched a new limited edition of the Slavia in the country. The limited edition has been named Skoda Slavia Style and comes for Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Slavia Style edition will be sold in a limited number of 500.

With the addition of the Style edition, the Skoda Slavia is now available in four special editions, the others being the Matte edition, Elegance edition, and Lava Blue edition.

The newest additions in the limited edition Slavia are the cosmetic changes along with a dual dashboard camera, Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition, and puddle lamps. The new edition will be offered with single powertrain options and three colour schemes– Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red.

The Skoda Slavia Style Edition is available with a single powertrain option of a 1.5-litre Turbo Petrol Motor, paired with the even-speed DSG automatic unit. It produces 150hp of power, 250Nm of torque. Its is claimed to reach from 0-100kph in just 8.96 seconds.

What’s new in Skoda Slavia Style Edition

The is based on the top-spec Style variant of the sedan and sports many cosmetic changes on the exterior in comparison to the standard version. To make it stand out more than the Style Edition of the Slavia gets a dual dash camera, scuff plates, electrically adjustable front seats, puddle lamps with logo projection, and badges on the B-pillar and the steering wheel. The B-pillar and steering wheel now sports a ‘Edition’ badging while the scuff plates have got ‘Style’ branding.

The Slavia Style Edition carries forward other features from the Style trim such as a sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats and a 10-inch infotainment unit.

The rivals of the Skoda Slavia Style Edition are the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Maruti Ciaz.
