Shah Rukh Khan has received his first ever EV- All-Electric Hyundai Ioniq 5. King Khan has been the brand ambassador for Hyundai Motor India.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received his first ever EV, which is an All-Electric Hyundai Ioniq 5. This is the 1100th unit delivery of the all-electric crossover the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
The company reportedly presented the electric crossover to King Khan as a vote of thanks, who has been the brand ambassador for Hyundai Motor India since 1998, for the completion of a 25-year-long association. This is one of the longest brand-ambassador partnerships in the industry.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 features, powertrain
The all electric Hyundai Ioniq 5 was launched at the 2023 Auto Expo. Hyundai has already been delivered a total of 1100 units of the Ioniq 5, which shows it’s potential.
Based on the E-GMP platform, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 underpins the Kia EV6 and is equipped with a 72.6 kWh battery pack, which is mounted between the front and rear wheel axles. The battery powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor that churns out 215 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. It delivers an ARAI-certified drive range of 631 km.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 features electronic stability control, ADAS, and multiple airbags for enhanced safety of passengers. Other features include auto climate control, onboard navigation, an 8-speaker premium Bose sound system, ambient sound with six options, and a Bluelink-connected car subscription for 3-year period. The EV is capable of Vehicle to Load (V2L) charging. That means you can charge laptops, smartphones, and other electrical appliances using the Ioniq 5.
