Hyundai Tucson facelift with minor design upgrade revealed; Will launch in India in 2024

The Hyundai Tucson facelift has been revealed officially. According to reports by Autocar India, Hyundai will officially reveal the updated SUV in India in 2024. The current generation of the Hyundai Tucson was launched in India in August 2022. The facelift variant of the SUV offers some design upgrades at the interior as well as the exterior.

The Hyundai Tucson facelift gets a more aesthetic design in the interior. We get new Parametric Dynamics design language as the. We do not have the latest gen Kona is Indian market yet.

The facelift version of Tucson will offer a redesigned front grille, skid plates at the front and the rear, restyled headlights as well as new alloy wheel design. We get an infotainment touchscreen that is integrated with the driver’s display. The single panel design offers a neat display. On the other hand, the steering wheel has three spokes and offers accessibility to multiple functions through buttons. The physical heater dials have returned and we get enhanced usability. We also get larger storage space at the front of the centre console.

When it comes to engine, we get 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit that produces 160hp of power. The engine is already offered in the Alcazar. On the other hand, the 2.0-litre diesel engine offers 186hp of power and 416Nm of torque. We get a 8-speed automatic gearbox onboard. We do not have a manual gearbox on offer. The SUV does offer AWD with multi-terrain modes on the top diesel variants. The multi-terrain mode can come in handy in Snow, Mud and Sand conditions.

As the facelift model launches in India, it will rival the likes of Volkswagen Tiguan as well as Skoda Kodiaq. We expect the South-Korean manufacturer to offer more details about the facelift Tucson that is meant for Indian market.
