Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 unveiled, India launch likely in January 2024
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has finally made its global debut on Wednesday. The motorcycle will be available in four distinct colours.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has finally made its global debut in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday. The Super Meteor 650 based motorcycle will be available in Stencil White, Green Drill, Plasma Blue, and Sheetmetal Grey colour options.
All four colour options have their unique style. While the Plasma Blue is the most extravagant one with eye-catching shining blue paint and bold graphics, the Sheetmetal Grey colour option is the most appropriate choice for a minimal style.
The company introduced a custom-painted Motoverse Edition of the Shotgun 650 last month in late November.

Riding on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 gets Showa USD forks and Showa twin springs at the rear for suspension while the 320mm front disc and the 300mm back disc handle the breaking of the motorcycle. It comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
An air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine of 648cc runs the motorcycle. The engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox, produces power of 46.40bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. It also gets the an assist and slipper clutch for smooth riding.
The Shotgun also comes equipped with a Tripper navigation, full-LED lighting system, a USB charging port, and Wingman app support. Riders can find the bike’s live location, fuel and engine oil level, service reminder, and more on the Wingman app.
Royal Enfield has not revealed the price of the motorcycle yet. We also don’t have a launch date for the Indian market yet. But, it is expected to go on sale in the Indian market by mid-January 2024. So, the launch could likely take place in early January.
