The new generation of the Kia Carnival that will be headed for the Indian market after international debut has been spotted. The spy shots of the updated Kia Carnival have surfaced in Korea. We now have a clear idea about the look of the refreshed MPV. The Kia Carnival (new gen) is expected to make a comeback in the Indian market in 2024.
The new generation of the Kia Carnival will be assembled in India via CKD kits. The spy shots have revealed that the SUV gets an upright nose along with wide grille, L-shaped headlamps that are alongside daytime running lamps. The grille offers chrome bits all across it while the front bumper design is smooth. A small air intake is positioned below and is surrounded by faux brushed aluminium skid plate.
The MPV continues to get a L-shaped theme on the tail-lamps and they are connected through a LED light bar. The design is quite similar to the updated Seltos as well as born-EV SUVs. The tail-gate on the other hand has a flat look with a license plate enclosure at the centre. On the other hand, the rear bumper gets a mix of matte black and chrome treatment. We also find touches of chrome on the sides as well as on the alloy wheels. We can also mark that the alloy wheel design is new. Many design elements have been taken from the born-EV SUVs like the EV5 and EV9. The higher variants get dual sunroof setup as well as roof rails.
The dashboard and the tech are updated while the seating options are multiple. The seats of the new carnival will be similar to that of the EV9 and it will also feature twin curved displays along with safety features like ADAS.
