Hero MotoCorp might be offering a new variant of the Xoom scooter soon and it might offer larger wheels as compared to the current generation of the scooter. The patent image of the scooter has surfaced on the internet and we have a glimpse of the upcoming scooter.
According to the patent image, the scooter will have a sharp and layered design which is quite similar to the current model of Xoom. Even though there are similarities in headlight as well as seat design, it is not exact. The headlight offers a refreshed design while the seat design is also different. The seat offers a fair amount of step up unlike the Hero Xoom. When it comes to suspension and braking, the scooter appears to be similar to the Xoom.
The new variant of Hero Zoom is likely to get a 14-inch alloy wheels and this will definitely make the scooter look huge. The new variant of Xoom should have the similar 110cc engine (as present on the Edge 110, Xoom and Pleasure 110+) that produces 8.15hp of power and 8.7Nm of torque. However, power and torque figures might vary slightly.
The key specs of the Hero Xoom include Diamond cut alloy wheels, call/ SMS alert with BT connectivity, LED headlamps, aerodynamic design, digital speedometer with real time mileage indicator, low fuel indicator, i3S technology, front disc brake, bigger and wider tyres and H shaped LED tail lamp.
When it comes to variants we get LX, VX and ZX options. The base and middle variants cost Rs 71,484 and Rs 74,917 respectively. On the other hand, the top ZX variant costs Rs 79,967.
