Gogoro CrossOver electric scooter unveiled in India; Offers range of 111 km

Electronic two-wheeler manufacturer Gogoro has introduced the India-made CrossOver electric scooter with a a range of 111 km.

Electronic two-wheeler manufacturer Gogoro has introduced the CrossOver in India. The company calls its first India-made e-scooter as ‘The True-Wheel SUV’. The company claims the Gogoro Crossover can operate in all terrain.

The uniquely styled electric scooter comes in three variants: CrossOver GX250,CrossOver 50 and CrossOver S.

The company stated that the e-scooter contains X-space, X-seat, X-beam, X-mount, X-smart, and X-frame.

The Multi-Functional ride is equipped with a digital dashboard that shows speed, battery percentage and more. It gets a telescopic front fork and rear dual shock absorbers for riding stability and durability. It has an all-terrain chassis with a ground clearance of 176 mm which makes it able to run on every road condition.

Powering the electric scooter is a 2.5 kW direct-drive electric motor that is claimed to offer a top speed of over 60 km/h and a range of 111 km on a single charge. It gets 2 Year Motor Warranty.

The e-scooter has versatile carrying capabilities while maintaining complete beam coverage. The electric scooter has four cargo areas including a platform design headlight, foot, seat and rear cargo space. A cargo space can be created above the LED headlight and at the back with the help of an off-road front rack and a rear rack to add more luggage space. It features an expanded legroom big enough for luggage and the removable seat allows for more space creation if necessary.

The Gogoro CrossOver is fitted with a mounting point expansion system with 26 attachment points. The CrossOver comes with intelligent features such as one-button reverse function, optional cruise control, wireless key, swappable battery, smart safety, and smart connect. As per the company, the vehicle remains safe with smart batteries, Face-ID and digital-encrypted key cards.

The traction control enabled by the company’s SSmartCore with the synchronized braking system offers safety for riders.

The company is planning to offer the Gogoro CrossOver in Delhi and Goa, followed by those in Mumbai and Pune. The Crossover electric scooter will be made available for the B2B customers in early 2024 and for other buyers from the second quarter of next year.
