New Delhi: In a bid to counter Reliance Jio and Vodafone, state-owned telecom provider Bharat Sanchar Ngam Limited (BSNL) has reportedly launched a new Rs. 899 prepaid recharge with a validity of 180 days. The pack is said to offer 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls (except Mumbai and Delhi circles), and 50 SMS per day for 180 days.
According to Telecom Talk, the half-yearly plan has been launched only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle as of now. However, it may be launched on a nationwide basis very soon.
The new Rs. 899 plan joins the 999 prepaid recharge that offers 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calling benefit including Mumbai and Delhi circles. The validity of this plan is 181 days.
