New Delhi: Congress MP Dhiraj Prasad Sahu has broken his silence over the I-T raids on his liquor firms in different places of Odisha and Jharkhand and seizure of Rs 332 Crore.
While talking to news agency ANI, Sahu said that I am active in politics for the last 30 to 35 years. What is happening today makes me sad. I never wanted to be in controversy.
“I can admit that the money that has been recovered belongs to my firm. The cash that has been recovered is related to my liquor firms, it is the proceedings from the sale of liquor. This money has nothing to do with Congress or any other political party as is being said,” the Congress MP admitted.
“The money is not all mine, it belongs to my family and other related firms. I-T has raided now, I will give account for everything,” he added.
