According to reports, the dead body of a young man was found hanging from a mango tree by local people in a mango orchard near Patarpada village under Puri Sadar police sation.
The deceased youth is said to have been missing since the past two days. He has been identified as Manas Pradhan. He was 22-years-old. He was a resident of Banua Sahi under Basudebpur Panchayat.
The Puri sadar police has reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. The reason of the death is being probed.
