Bhubaneswar: A western disturbance is likely to affect Odisha on February 17, 2022 informed the Regional Meteorological Centre situated here in Bhubaneswar.
Reportedly, the state is expected to receive heavy rainfall over the next few days due to the western disturbances.
A warning has also been issued by the weather department to six districts in Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, and Puri districts.
Besides, the highest temperature in the month of February the weather department further predicted.
Adding to it, night temperatures are expected to increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius.
