Another 166 Covid patients recover in Odisha on December 16

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed that another 166 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State and are being discharged from various facilities on December 16.

The Health department informed about this development through its official twitter handle today.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries have been made in Khordha district followed by Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh districts.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,42,002.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

63 from Khordha

22 from Mayurbhanj

15 from Sundargarh

11 from Cuttack

6 from Jajpur

6 from Koraput

5 from Anugul

4 from Puri

3 from Gajapati

3 from Jharsuguda

2 from Ganjam

2 from Kandhamal

2 from Kendrapara

1 from Baleswar

1 from Bargarh

1 from Bhadrak

1 from Keonjhar

1 from Nayagarh

1 from Sonepur

16 from State Pool

A total of 173 Covid-19 positive cases including 26 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,52,318 informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday.

Among the 173 positives, 98 are quarantine cases and 75 are local contacts.
