Begunia: In a shocking incident a few miscreant allegedly thrashed a youth and his father with stick after confining them in a room in Khordha district of Odisha recently. The incident took place in Kadaba village in the district. The video has gone viral on social media.
As per reports, some people were forcing Maguni Nayak and his son to join a certain organisation. As they did not agree, some members of that organisation confined the two in a room and thrashed them with sticks. However, the victims did not complain the matter with Police due to fear.
On the other hand another complaint has come to the fore against the said organisation. On the day same night when they had thrashed the father and the son, some miscreants had hacked to death one Satyabrata Nayak of Abhimanpur and later they allegedly burnt him in the forest of Karadagadia area under Khordha Sadar Police station.
Police had arrested six persons in this connection. However, it has been complained that the main accused is yet to be nabbed.
As per reports, the locals are worried as the members of the organisation are forcing to join. However, nobody is daring to complain due to fear.
