Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday condoled the death of legendary Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, who passed away this morning.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Patnaik said, “Saddened to learn about the passing away of veteran actor #RishiKapoor. Indian cinema has lost one of the iconic actors who had left an imprint with many memorable movies. My condolences to family, friends and fans.”

Likewise, Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal also mourned the Kapoor’s demise.

Kandhamal MP Dr Achyuta Samanta also expressed his grief over the demise of the veteran actor.

The 67-year-old actor was hospitalised at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning after complaining that he was not feeling well. He breathed his last this morning.
