Bhubaneswar: The city-based Regional Meteorological Department on Sunday issued heavy rain and lightning warnings for 11 districts of Odisha.
As per the latest bulletin of the MeT office, heavy rain accompanied with lightning to occur in 11 the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Koraput, Nabaragpur, Balangir, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Rayagada till 12 PM.
People of the said districts have been asked to take shelter in the safety locations and avoid going outside till 12 PM.
