India v South Africa, 2nd Test: Kohli hits 153

Centurion: Captain Virat Kohli scored a fighting 153 in the company of India’s lower order batsmen on the third day of the second Cricket Test against South Africa in Centurion on Monday. It was his 21st Test hundred.

Kohli was the last man out at the total team score of 307 in the post-lunch session today. Besides, M. Vijay and R Ashwin contributed 46 and 38 respectively, while India conceded a 28-run lead.

For the hosts, Morne Morkel claimed 4 wickets, while KA Maharaj, VD Philander, K Rabada and L Ngidi got one wicket each.

South Africa are currently leading the three-match series, 1-0. They had won the first Test at Cape Town by 72 runs.
