Bhubaneswar: In an effort to rescue missing children from outside the state, the Odisha Crime Branch began the second phase of Operation Muskaan-III from today. The operation will continue till August 13.
As many as 10 different teams comprising Police and Women & Child development officials will visit different States to trace missing children from Odisha.
Special DG (crime branch) Bijay Kumar Sharma tweeted that as many as 489 children, including 427 boys and 62 girls, have been rescued in the state in the first three days of Operation Muskan-III.
