KISS students to perform at AAC inaugural session

Bhubaneswar: As many as 300 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), the world’s largest tribal residential school, will perform at the cultural programme during the inaugural and valedictory ceremonies of Asian Athletic Championship here. The Championship is scheduled to be held from July 5 to 9.

The enthusiastic students are being trained at KISS campus from tomorrow and will practice in Kalinga Stadium from July 1. Eminent Bollywood choreographer Deepa and team, and Odia choreographer Bidyadhar Barik from KISS will train the students.

Expressing his pleasure, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, “It is a matter of pride for KISS and the tribal community that students of KISS are performing at a mega international event. Earlier, students of KISS have participated and awarded in many regional and national cultural events. KISS students are not only excelling in education, but also in various extracurricular activities.”
