Strong Earthquake tremors felt in Hokkaido and Eastern Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 and 5.2 struck Hokkaido, Japan, and eastern Turkey on Friday and Thursday.

A powerful earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale shook Hokkaido, Japan, on Friday. The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) announced the seismic event, revealing that the earthquake’s epicenter lay 46 kilometers (28.58 miles) beneath the Earth’s surface.

Meanwhile, eastern Turkey experienced its own seismic event, with a magnitude 5.2 earthquake striking the region on Thursday. The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported the quake, detailing its depth as 11 km (6.84 miles) below the surface.

As of this moment, there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage resulting from either of these earthquakes.
