The plane was grounded over human trafficking fears
New Delhi: A plane carrying at least 303 Indian passengers reportedly grounded in France on Friday following an ‘ anonymous tip off’. The action was reportedly taken over human trafficking fears.
As per reports, the said plane was grounded at an airport in north-eastern France on suspicion of human trafficking as per French Media.
“A plane carrying 303 Indian passengers has been grounded at an airport in north-eastern France on suspicion of human trafficking, French media report,” BBC reported today.
The said plane, an Airbus A340 was on its way to the Nicaraguan capital Managua from the United Arab Emirates.
Police have sealed off the plane while an investigation has been launched.
