New-York: The Transportation Security Administration said, they have concealed 17 bullets inside a disposable baby diaper at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday.

Officers pulled the otherwise clean diaper from a passenger’s carry-on bag after it triggered an alarm in an X-ray machine at an airport security checkpoint, the TSA said as reported by Associated press.

The person has been identified as a native of Arkansas. He had booked his ticket to Chicago’s Midway airport.

According to, the security agency the passenger claimed that he did not know how the bullet-filled diaper was inside his bag. Later, after much questioning, he informed that his girl-friend must have put it inside the bag.

The port authority police alleged him for unlawful possession of the ammunition.

The details regarding the passenger has been left with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which runs the airport, and the Queens district attorney’s office.

Last month, TSA officers found a .45-caliber pistol and a magazine loaded with six bullets concealed in a pair of Nike sneakers in a checked bag at LaGuardia.
