Pakistan: 11 killed in fire in Karachi shopping mall

Karachi: Atleast 11 people were killed after a massive fire broke out in a multi-storey shopping mall in Pakistan’s Karachi on Saturday.

According to Geo News,  the blaze started early in the morning at RJ shopping mall on Karachi’s Rashid Minhas Road. The fire brigade rescued around 50 people but more remained inside the building and efforts are being made to bring them to safety, officials said.

The cause of the blaze was not clear yet. Several people injured in the fire were also being treated in hospital, Geo reported.
