Myanmar: A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale rattled parts of Myanmar early on October 28, 2023. The quake occurred at 04:53:48 IST, with its epicenter located at a latitude of 26.36 and a longitude of 95.41.
The seismic event struck at a depth of 30 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface. While the earthquake was of moderate intensity, it may have been felt in the surrounding areas.
Informing about the seismic event, National Center of Seismology tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.5, Occurred on 28-10-2023, 04:53:48 IST, Lat: 26.36 & Long: 95.41, Depth: 30 Km, Location: Myanmar.”
