40 terrorists killed after Giza bus attack: Egyptian Interior Ministry
Cairo: 40 terrorists have been killed so far said the Egyptian Interior Ministry in a statement.
Two raids in the Giza governorate killed 30 “terrorists”, while the remaining 10 were killed in the restive North Sinai, the ministry said in the statement.
The raids were conducted on Saturday, a day after a roadside bomb near the Giza pyramids killed three Vietnamese tourists and their guide.
The statement also revealed that the officials had received confirmed reports regarding the presence of militants in the area. They added the insurgents had been planning attacks on several tourist places and churches.
