YouTube Premium and YouTube Music annual plans launched in India, Check promotional offer here

We are in the age of OTT and there is a rise in audiences who are taking active subscription of them. Meanwhile, online video sharing and social media platform YouTube, is providing its content to its users free of cost. The platform (YouTube) has now launched the annual plans for its YouTube Premium and YouTube Music services. The yearly plans offer ad-free content to its users and is offered at a promotional price till January 23, 2022.

The YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium are not available to all countries and are rather limited to a handful of countries like the India and U.S. The YouTube Premium subscription for 12 months currently costs Rs 1159. On the other hand, YouTube Music costs Rs 899 for 12 months.

Sans the promotional offer YouTube Premium costs Rs 129 for 1 month subscription for individuals. If you have a family subscription the 1 month subscription will cost Rs 189 for a month. Under this plan, you can add up to 5 family members (above 13 years) in the household. However, if you are eligible student a monthly plan will cost Rs 79/ month.

If you plan to purchase a YouTube Music plan after the promotional offer, you will have to pay Rs 99/ month. If you are taking a family subscription you have to pay Rs 149/ month. On the other hand, if you are an eligible student a monthly plan will cost Rs 59/ month.

Some of the important restrictions in the promotional offer and some of them are mentioned below.

Only first-time YouTube Red, Music Premium, YouTube Premium and Google Play Music subscribers are eligible for free trials, introductory offers or promotional pricing. You will be automatically charged the price listed unless you cancel during your trial, and then every month starting on the first billing date until you cancel your subscription. Cancel anytime. No refunds or credits for partial billing periods.

Pre-paid plans: If you make a single-time purchase of a YouTube Premium or Music Premium membership for a fixed time period on a non-recurring basis using the pre-paid plans. Once the time period you purchased ends, the pre-paid plan will automatically terminate and you will lose access to your benefits. To maintain access to your benefits, you will need to make another purchase or switch to a different plan. You may have up to 24 months of pre-paid access.

Pre-paid plans are currently available on Android and Web in select locations. Pre-paid plans cannot be combined with other YouTube Premium or Music Premium offers including family or student subscription and free trials. Pre-paid plans can be subject to limited time introductory offers.
