Xiaomi Redmi K40 Series To Launch Soon, Specification Revealed

The Chinese mobile manufacturing company Xiaomi on Monday teased the specifications of its upcoming Redmi K40 series ahead of its official launch in China on Thursday. The Redmi K40 series is expected to have Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 pro phones.

As per the teaser images, the Redmi K40 series will feature a new pattern on its back and have a 4,520mAh battery as standard and will feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

Redmi K40 series specifications

The Redmi K40 series is teased to feature the new display technology E4 AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution for enhanced viewing experience.

The teaser posted an image of a black Redmi K40 series phone from its back. And it revealed a new pattern with diagonal strikes.

The teaser poster also revealed that the Redmi K40 will feature a flat display design with a very small hole-punch design for the selfie camera.

Earlier, Xiaomi teased that the Redmi K40 series will have the world’s “smallest” selfie camera hole.

The Redmi K40 series will be powered by a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phones was also revealed to come with dual stereo audio output along with Dolby Atmos surround sound experience. Apart from this, the Redmi K40 series will have Hi-Res Audio certification.

The Redmi K40 series is expected to come in 8GB and 128GB storage plus 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variants.

As per camera concern, the phone is teased to have a triple rear camera setup on the back.

Earlier, Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi K40 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.

The Redmi K40 series is set to launch in China on Thursday. The company will also launch the new RedmiBook Pro model alongside the new phones.
