Realme GT 5G Smartphone Expected To Launch In India Next Month; Expected Price, Specs

Realme India Chief Marketing Officer Francis Wong has hinted that Realme GT 5G is likely to launch in India In May.

The executive said that Realme will launch a flagship phone on it’s third anniversary in the country.

Though he doesn’t reveal the name of the flagship, it is expected to be Realme GT 5G.

Realme GT 5G debuted in China last month with a 120Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

As per reports og Gadgets 360, in a fresh QnA on the Realme forums, a fans question the company executives about the smartphone he is currently using and in reply he answered that he cannot reveal the name of the phone but added that it was a flagship that will launch on Realme’s third anniversary.

“I wish I could tell you the device I am using, it is our next flagship and it will launch as part of our 3rd anniversary celebration. Just wait for it,” replied Wong.

After his statement, it is being expected that the upcoming device will be the Indian version of Realme GT 5G.

And Wong is likely to be testing the handset in the Indian market till the phone is ready to be launched.

Realme GT 5G Specification

Realme GT 5G debuted in china with a 120Hz display and a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The smartphone features a 6.43-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 360Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with upto 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of Storage.

The Realme GT 5G is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

The phone features Stainless Steel VC Cooling System.

The Realme GT 5G carries a priced of CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 31,400) in China and it may come in the same price range in the Indian market.
