OnePlus Nord 2-PAC MAN Edition launched in India for Rs 37,999; Whats new in the special edition phone

New Delhi: OnePlus has finally unveiled the much-anticipated OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition phone in India on Monday. The special edition phone comes with the Pac-Man logo on back and the back panel also glows in the dark to reveal a Pac-Man maze.

The new changes on the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition are seen primarily on the interface. However, the specifications of the new limited-edition device are the same as that of the original OnePlus Nord 2 phone.

“The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition comes with all the incredible features our community loved about the regular Nord 2, but delivers them in an expertly crafted, fully customised package celebrating video game icon PAC-MAN,” said Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus.

The device was developed in collaboration with BANDAI NAMCO Europe S.A.S.

The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition is priced at Rs 37,999 in India for the 12GB+256GB storage variant. The special edition phone is set to go on sale in India on Tuesday (noon time) with attractive discounts.
What’s New in OnePlus Nord 2 Pac Man Edition 

The customers purchasing the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN edition smartphone will also get a free phone holder featuring the Pac-Man character alongside ghostly antagonists Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.

Once booted, the special edition phone reveals a dynamic Pac-Man-themed wallpaper with seven more included.

The OnePlus Nord 2 – PAC-MAN Edition reimagines the design of OnePlus Nord 2 with a dual film rear cover featuring the design aesthetics of both brands.

Other PAC-MAN content on the device includes a custom camera filter, custom animations like Pac-Man themed charging animation, ringtones, custom icons, a Pac-Man inspired fingerprint unlock, and the game PAC-MAN 256 is also pre-installed so users can immediately begin chasing high scores, munching on pellets, and outmaneuvering ghosts, the company informed.

Red Cable members will also get a free Lego-style PAC-MAN phone holder that will have to be assembeled.

OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition Specifications

The special edition of OnePlus Nord 2 features a 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display, two 5G SIM card slots, and comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 11.3. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The device has a 50MP AI triple camera at the rear, complete with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a Sony IMX766 sensor capable of capturing 56 per cent more light than the original OnePlus Nord. It also features an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro sensor. For taking selfies and video calls, the handset carries for a 32 MP camera at the front.

The camera system works in tandem with AI-assisted software powered by the phone’s MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset.

Just like the flagship OnePlus 9 series, the PAC-MAN Edition phone has a large 4500mAh dual cell battery with 65W fast charging support that can be charged from nill to full in just 30 minutes.
