Earlier, OnePlus reportedly listed the OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger, which usually costs Rs 3,990, for free on its Indian website, which created quite a buzz in X platform (formerly known as Twitter). At that time many suspected that it was a error while others said that it is a clearance sale by the company. After much speculation, the Chinese manufacturer has clarified that the OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger was in fact an error on their part.
Confirming the mistake, OnePlus India said that the orders placed for the OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger will be canceled due to the error in pricing and the customers will be compensated with a discount coupon of Rs 800 which can be used to purchase accessories worth Rs 1500 or more. The coupon amount will be directly credited to your OnePlus account. Customers can use this coupon on the mobile app or website.
This is what the official statement released by OnePlus reads, “We regret to inform you that your order for the OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger will be canceled due to an incorrect price set. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. As a token of our apology, we will be issuing a new coupon worth Rs 800 off on accessory purchases of Rs 1500 or more. This coupon will be credited to your account directly. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team. They will be more than happy to assist you.
The OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger supports OnePlus as well as non-OnePlus phones. The catch is that OnePlus smartphones get 30W charging speeds while other smartphones are limited to 10W fast charging.
Interestingly enough, netizens have reported that their orders for the OnePlus 9 3D Tempered Glass Screen Protector as well as the Nord CE 2 Bumper cases have already been delivered.
