Motorola to offer Gorilla Glass across its entire smartphone line-up from 2024
Smartphone manufacturer Motorola will be offering Gorilla Glass in all its smartphones from this year. Motorola has announced its partnership with smartphone glass manufacturing company Corning. Under this partnership, Corning will be offering its Gorilla Glass in every smartphone of Motorola. This will start from the second half of 2024. This will significantly improve the durability and sustainability of the smartphones offered by Motorola.
According to its official statement of Motorola, it will be emphasizing on its commitment to delivering durability and cutting-edge materials on its smartphones. Corning already has a partnership with Motorola’s parent company, Lenovo, and offers Gorilla Glass on select laptops and tablets.
Even though there is other glass manufacturers across the globe, Gorilla Glass offers better screen protection as well as offers added aesthetics as well as functionality. The partnership of Corning with Motorola ensures that durability is ensured across all smartphones of all price ranges. Earlier, Gorilla Glass was offered in high-end devices like the Moto Edge Plus. Contrasting, the Moto G Play (2024) that was recently announced features Gorilla Glass 3.
Apart from the above-mentioned announcement, Motorola has also revealed a bracelet-like smartphone that can be wrapped around a user’s wrist. On the other hand, Lenovo has unveiled the Smart Connect suite. This suite enables hassle-free connectivity across laptops, tablets, and phones from Lenovo as well as Motorola.
In India, Motorola has recently launched the Moto G04 on February 15. The smartphone is already on sale now across Flipkart, leading retail stores as well as on Motorola’s Indian website.
The Motorola Moto G04 smartphone is available in two memory options – 4GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. The 4GB/64GB will be available for Rs 6999 while the 8GB/128GB will cost Rs 7999. The device will be available in four different colour options and that includes Matte Charcoal, Ice Green, Blueberry, and Pink Lavender.
