New Delhi: Ahead of the festive season, Carmaker Maruti Suzuki has launched the limited edition cars of its WagonR model. The new vehicles come with upgraded features like interior styling kit, two-din music system, Bluetooth connectivity, body graphics, premium seat covers and cushions besides reverse parking sensors.
Besides the enhanced features, there is no other change in the Limited Edition version and it continues to get all the features and specifications from the respective standard variants. The price of the special editions car starts at Rs 4.15 lakh for the LXi variant while the the VXi(O) AGS variant with metallic colour is available for Rs. 5.39 lakhs.
The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R comes with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine that delivers 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. The motor comes coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. Maruti Suzuki also offers an AGS (Auto Gear Shift) option in the VXi variants. The LXi variants also come in CNG fuel option.
Notably, WagonR is one of the most popular family cars in the country and amongst India’s top 5 selling cars. Maruti Suzuki has sold around 21.9 lakh units of this model since its launch in 1999.
