KTM 125 Duke ABS Launched In India At Rs. 1.18 Lakh

New Delhi: Motor manufacturer Bajaj Auto recently announced the launch of KTM’s low cost motorcycle- 125 Duke ABS in India. The motorbike has been priced at Rs. 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 125 Duke ABS features same trellis frame with aluminium swing arm and street fighter styling from the 200 Duke. It comes with a smaller 124.7cc engine, making it more friendly motorcycle for starters.  The bike has a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which churns out 14.5PS of power at 9.250rpm and 12Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. The powertrain of the motorcycle comes with a six-speed gearbox and gets an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system.

Alike other KTM bikes, the 125 Duke ABS comes with 43mm inverted front telescopic forks and a 10-step adjustable rear monoshock from WP Suspension. It features 150/60 section tyre at the rear and 110/70 section tyre up front. Furthermore, the bike gets Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard.

The motorcycle weighs 141kg in dry condition and offers a seat height of 818mm which is a bit higher than the average seat height of commuter motorcycles in India. The 125 Duke ABS is available in three colour options for the fuel tank viz. black, white and orange while rest of the bike remains monotonous.

Notably, KTM is one of the most popular sports bike in the country. The motorcycle is available in 200cc and 390cc versions and is priced higher than other motorcycles of the same range.
