Asus ROG Phone 7 launch on April 13; Price in india, specifications tipped
The upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7 will likely be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 series flagship SoC and sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display.
Asus has confirmed to launch the Asus ROG Phone 7 on April 13. Ahead of its debut, the price and specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been leaked by a popular tipster online. The tipster has also leaked some of its key specifications.
As per the tipster, the device will likely be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 series flagship SoC and sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with similar specifications as the outgoing model.
Known tipster Yogesh Brar (Twitter @heyitsyogesh) has revealed the expected price of Asus ROG Phone 7 in India and some of the key specifications of the device as well. As per the tipster, the upcoming successor to Asus ROG Phone 6 will be priced between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 will succeed the ROG Phone 6 that debuted in India in July last year. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is priced at Rs. 71,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Speaking of its specifications, the device is tipped to sport a 6.78″ full-HD+ AMOLED with up to 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Asus ROG Phone 7 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The phone will likely be available for purchase in two RAM and storage variants – 12GB/16GB RAM and 256/512GB storage respectively.
Apart from this, it will run Android 13 out of the box. The phone is said to ship with a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. The other two camera sensors will be a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 5-megapixel camera. At the front, the device will likely have a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.
The upcoming smartphone will also pack a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support, revealed the tispster.
Other leaked specifications include stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint scanner.
