Sundargarh: A youth lost part of an arm after being run over by a train near Kansbahal station in the district today.
The victim has been identified as Raj Kumar Yadav. As per reports, Yadav was on his way to Rourkela from Jharsuguda when the incident took place.
Yadav was reportedly using his mobile phone when he fell from the running train. As a result of which his right hand was stuck on the truck and the train ran over the arm. The youth also sustained fracture on his leg.
Government Railway Police (GRP) rescued his and rushed to the nearest hospital from where he has been shifted to Rourkela.
