Balasore : A 41-year-old migrant woman , who had returned from Hyderabad, was found hanging from a tree at a COVID quarantine centre in Odisha’s Balasore district on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Arati Bhola, wife of Rabindra Bhola, a resident of Jayrampur village under Bhogorai block in the district.
According to reports, the woman had arrived in the district from Hyderabad on June 20. Since then, she had been lodged at a COVID quarantine centre in Jayrampur.
Locals spotted the woman hanging from a tree behind the quarantine centre at around 10.40 AM today. They immediately alerted the local authorities and police in this regard.
Bhogorai BDO and police reached the spot.
The police recovered the body and started an investigation into the matter.
