Karanjia: A forest guard dances with joy as rains doused the Simlipal biosphere reserve in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
A video has gone viral where a woman forest guard Sneha Dhal from Pithabata range in Similipal can been seen shouting and dancing in joy after the rain god showered the forest.
The forest department,the fire department and ODRAF team have been engaged to douse the blaze.
The mother nature finally poured heavy showers accompanied by hailstorm lashed in some parts of Simlipal forest area on Wednesday afternoon and was a respite for the persons who were working 24×7 to put out the fire which endangered the flora and fauna of Asia’s largest biosphere.
The state government has been trying and working hard to control the blaze in the Simlipal forest for the past few days.
Meanwhile, the fire was under control by yesterday’s hailstorm along with rain.
