Temperature To Drop By 3-5 Degrees In Odisha, Dense Fog Alert

Bhubaneswar: The temperature across Odisha is likely to dip further by 3-5 degrees Celsius said the recent MeT bulletin on Monday.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in most of the places from January 26, forecasted the Regional Meteorological center situated here in Bhubaneswar.

The SRC (Special Relief Commissioner) warned of dense fog from January 24 to January 27 in the following districts:

January 24— Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Cuttack.

January 25— Kandhamal, Gajapati, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Ganjam, Khurda.

January 26— Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam.

Police and transport officials of respective districts may take necessary said the SRC in the warning.

The SRC has directed officials to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any accident.
