Balasore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ at Talkatora Stadium on January 20 amidst rapturous applause from the student community in the presence of teachers where he shared important ‘Guru Mantra’ to the children.
During his address, Modi also maintained it that the coming decade will bear significance for the country and students particularly those in Class 10 and 12 are having a major role in this direction. The PM also shared some important tips with the students on how they can appear the exams without any kind of mental stress.
A total of 1150 students from across the country had got the privilege to take part in the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ event this year among whom 21 were from Odisha.
Akash Senapati of Gundarimara village under Basta block of Balasore was one among the Odia students’ team which attended the program.
Akash who hails from a poor family had not got an opportunity to study in a reputed private school still he managed to clear the online procedure of getting selected to take part in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program with sheer hard work, sincerity and perseverance.
“I found answers to all my questions in PM Modi’s speech during the program. It was very informative. Especially, PM’s statement in which he advised the students to first identify themselves, know who they are to get better equipped to take the challenges of the outside world, inspired me,” said Akash.
Akash has given the credit of his success to his parents and teachers and aims to be a doctor in future to serve the country.
