Passengers upset as SpiceJet cancels Delhi-Jharsuguda flight after making them wait for 9 hours

Over 140 passengers of Delhi-Jharsuguda flight were upset as SpiceJet cancelled the flight after allegedly making the passengers wait for nine hours in at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

Bhubaneswar: Over 140 passengers of Delhi-Jharsuguda flight were upset as SpiceJet cancelled the flight after allegedly making the passengers wait for nine hours in at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

The Delhi-Jharsuguda SpiceJet flight SG 8941 was scheduled to take off at 12.20 PM. However, airline changed the departure time several times and finally cancelled the flight at around 9.30 PM causing massive incontinences to the passengers.

Upset over the cancellation of the flight after nine hours, many passengers vented their anger at the airline. “I think SpiceJet is going towards insolvency and get shut. It is wasting the time of the passengers and the staff are very unprofessional. They have been fooling us for the last 9 hours,” said a passenger.

After making us wait for nine hours, they said that the flight would be cancelled. They have not make any arrangement for us. Tomorrow is holiday and we waited our entire day here. They have rescheduled the flight to 12.20 today. But the staff are still doubtful about take off.”
