Bhubaneswar: All busses plying from Baramunda Bus Stand here towards Cuttack route have been instructed to use flyover on NH 16 till Crown Hotel and from there to Satsang Vihar, said the Police Commissionerate in a statement on Monday.
The buses are directed not to ply under the flyover through Acharya Vihar and Vani Vihar Squares in the city, the statement said.
Violation of the order will be punishable under Section 96 of the Odisha Urban Police Act 2003; the violators will be fined Rs 1,000, it added.
The new move aims at reducing traffic congestion at the Vani Vihar and Acharya Vihar Squares in the city.
