Puri: More than 20 wood-fired stoves called Chullahs were found vandalised inside the kitchen of Puri Gundicha Temple on Saturday afternoon.
The matter came to light when the doors of the temple kitchen were opened, some unknown miscreants had barged and demolished the chullahs, informed Suar Mahasuar Nijog secretary
The ovens were prepared for cooking Adapa Abadha for the deities who will be brought to the Adapa Mandapa from the three chariots today evening.
On April 3 this year, More than 60 wood-fired stoves called chullahs in the kitchen of 12th century Jagannath temple in Puri were found vandalised.
