Odisha’s first full-fledged outdoor roller skating rink opened

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s first full-fledged outdoor roller skating rink was opened at Buddha Jayanti Park in Niladri Vihar on the occasion of the inauguration of 9th State Roller Skating Championship today.

The 100m long rink has been set up over an area of 20,000 sqft by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). Earlier a smaller track with an area of 8,000 square feet had become operational at Madhusudan Park in Pokhariput.

More than 100 competitors from various districts are participating in the Roller Skating Championship which is being organised by its Apex body- Odisha Roller Skating Association in partnership with BDA.
