Odisha: Youth Arrested For Chopping Off Neighbour’s Genitals Over Illicit Affair With His Mother

Balasore: Police today arrested a youth for allegedly killing a security guard in Kesura village under Nilagiri police limits in the district on Friday night.

Police said that the accused identified as Gouri Shankar Rout hatched the plot to kill the victim Bijay Kumar Singh after he came to know about his mother having an illicit relationship with the victim.

Police said that the accused used to have arguments with his mother over the matter. “ On Friday night he got provoked after seeing his mother coming out of the house of the victim, a security guard by profession,” said a police official.

Police said that the accused later went to the house of Singh and assaulted him with sharp-edged weapons. He also slit the throat of the victim and chopped off his genitals.

Police have also seized the weapons used in the murder and have forwarded the victim to the court.
