Khurda: Two people were grievously injured in a firing incident in Kantulabai village under Tangi police limits. With election fever gripping Odisha, the political rivalry is suspected to be the cause behind the firing incident.
The victims have been identified as Prasad Parida and Nalini Parida. They are currently under treatment.
While the villagers remain agitated, an additional police force has been deployed in the area to keep the situation under control.
