Bhubaneswar: A total of 433 Covid-19 positive cases including 64 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,39,269, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Tuesday.
Among the 425 positives, there are 252 quarantine cases and 181 local contact cases. The new recovery cases stands at 360, taking the total number of 10,26,277. Hence, the number of active cases stands at 4,623.

Meanwhile, the State Health & Family Welfare Department informed about the death of four COVID infected patients, taking the death toll to 8,313 after due completion of death audit process. The list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of death audit process:
1. A 92 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease, Dimentia & Bedridden Status.
2. A 65 years old Male of Jagatsinghpur District.
3. A 37 years old Female of Mayurbhanja District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypothyroidism.
4. A 82 years old Male of Mayurbhanja District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
