Odisha: Mesmerizing Sand Sculpture To Mark Birth Anniversary Of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

Puri: A beautiful and mesmerizing sand sculpture has been created on the sea beach of Puri in Odisha to mark the 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to unveil the hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at India Gate later today.

The sand sculpture also commemorates the new statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose which is scheduled to be inaugurated today.

The Government of India has decided to celebrate the birthday of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose on 23rd January as “Parakram Diwas” every year, Union Ministry of Culture announced on Tuesday.

The notification issued by the Ministry of Culture said, “In order to honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and his selfless service to the nation, the Government of India has decided to celebrate his birthday on January 23 every year as Parakaram Diwas to inspire people of this country, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity as Netaji did, and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervour.”
