Odisha Government Fixes Ambulance Service Rates In The State, See Details

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday fixed the rates for Ambulance services in the State and this shall be adhered to without any fail.

The ambulance rates fixed by the State Government is as follows:

1. Small vehicle will charge Rs 750/10 km, Rs. 30 for every extra km. Additional of Rs 50 for life support.

2. Larger vehicle with advanced life support system will charge Rs. 3000 upto 10 kms and additional Rs. 50 for every extra km.

These rates shall be applicable to all the private hospitals and to all the private ambulance service providers in the state.

The above rates shall include all extra expenses such as PPE kits, gloves, face masks, face shields, sanitization and emergency treatment staff.

However any emergency injections and medicines shall be charged extra.
